I suspect you are correct. We are most familiar with Iodine deficiency disease in women. Whether in the breast, ovaries or uterus, Iodine deficiency leads to cysts, or fibroids or both and these sometimes progress into cancers. So I suspect the same is true of the prostate.

However, "sometimes prostatitis is caused by bacteria, but often the cause is not known."

If caused by bacteria, then Iodine is effective because it is the BEST Antibiotic ever discovered.

As in Fibroids of the Uterus.

Whatever the reason, we are pioneers in our research to document iodine as a cure for prostate problems. Iodine has been a miracle for my own prostate.
