Allen, your story fits mine exactly, I need not say more, your tale of manic Depression is mine exactly. L-tryptophan and avoiding light help me doze off and are at least as or more effective than Trazadone. I am attempting to wean off Lamictal when my mood is more stable. Like you I'm not anti-meds but anti-symptom. For three years I was symptom free. I hope to achieve that again.
