the idea of vinegar is a good one. but once orthoiodosupplementation has begun, pH seems to take care of itself. still, a vinegar tonic is always good and i have one with maple syrup (real, organic, dark, grade B) once in a while. like MH says, you cant beat those tree minerals.

your confusion seems to stem from the reason for taking Lugols in water only on an empty stomach. that is in order to deliver elemental Iodine to the bloodstream and this to the breasts and ovaries for cyst mitigation or even to a malignant mass.

otherwise it doesnt matter a lot. vit C reduces the elemental to a salt. when i went over 300mg of Lugols i started taking it in orange juice to reduce it because i found that much elemental was about all i could take. others have gone much higher. gram doses are Iodide only.

what does matter is dose, and thats as individual as a snowflake. trust yourself.
