It's well documented that there have been a number of Measles outbreaks in the USA where the index case is a single unvaccinated child. No public health agency will ever represent that the MMR vaccination is 100% effective for Measles and there are no credible data to support that it has a 100% failure rate to prevent infection. When an unfortunate driver happens to die in an auto accident while wearing a seat belt, does the logical consensus point to a decision to cease the use of seatbelts? Large scale long term statistics support that the MMR is 90-95% effective while an unvaccinated child has, statistically, a 90-95% potential of developing a full blown case of measles when exposed to this highly communicable disease. Effectively, any unvaccinated child can become the kindling of a chain reaction which can bloom to epidemic dimensions!
