Yes I have tried resistant starches...cold potatoes and cold sweet potatoes, semi-green bananas, cold lentils and cold beans, and arrow root and potato starch. And I also eat vegetables and nuts and seeds and some chicken. I can't tolerate any grains like the brown rice that he recommends though. I think RS is beneficial and notice improvements in brain fog and my bowel movements.
The biggest improvement from anything I have tried from what he recommends has been kombucha, resistant starches and digestive enzymes, specifically enzymedica digest gold ATP pro, but it is $27.99 at whole foods for a 15 day supply, so I don't take it that much.
I really just started working out again, so I am only just now incorporating that part in to my life.
I think 2 bottles of kombucha/day will help a lot and am going to try it and see how it goes. I already benefit from 1 bottle, but I haven't been consistent with it on a daily basis.
He does recommend a lot of supplements, but he doesn't take all of them daily.
The most important ones for me are: kombucha, resistant starches, digestive enzymes, vitamin d, zinc, magnesium, and selenium. I just got some Jasmine Green Tea today, so I'm going to try that and see how it goes. Regular green tea ussually induces my brain fog, but maybe jasmine green tea will have a different effect for some reason, I don't know, I will try and see what happens.
I also want to try the red glasses he recommends 2-3 hours before bed. Not sure what they are used for, but I will research and decide.
