I have been looking at the expanded local environment....

Stores.

I took 8.5" x 11" sheet of good quality printer paper.
Put a couple of pieces of clear packing tape in a corner as a base.
From which to hold numerous pieces of packing tape, w/folded lips for easy lift, to lift/take samples with.

Folded for shirt pocket.

I take along a lighted 5x.

I am careful about contamination at home with this prep, as well as contamination from me in employing this outside the home, in the expanded local environment.

Without exception, I've lifted large numbers of fibers, i.e. in the context of this thread, nematode trapping fungi strands.

They Are Everywhere... around here.

I was really surprised at the numbers.
