Yes most animals make their own but by comparison dogs make a lot less than most animals. Then you add in the fact we subject them to crappy dry food and surround them with toxins and give them fluoridated water their paltry vit C generation can easily be overcome.

Add cancer to the mix and there isnt an animal alive who can produce enough vit C.
