I found this page while searching out the same issue. When my Candida gets bad it gets into my throat and causes the lump feeling you mention.

What I eventually found out was that eating two tablespoons of raw garlic, waiting a few minutes and then drinking Apple Cider Vinegar (1 tablespoon to 1 cup water) Really knocks it back.

Be aware, however, that you'll feel like a baking soda and vinegar volcano for a while afterwards.
