I kept getting the bacterial overgrowth in my gut. They put me on xifaxan twice a day for 2 weeks. It worked great. I felt so much better but the overgrowth kept coming back. Come to find out I have a very slow moving stomach which caused the food to sit longer, which kept causing the overgrowth. Diet change has helped but it's tough.
