Mucus and Irritation could be an indication of parasites. They send their eggs through the mucus down. That is why that area soo irritable. I also would think that you might have parasites because you said your wife got the same irritation right after intercourse. You have to stay on parasite cleanse for some period of time plus to get your immediate relief I would suggest for you to insert garlic suppositories every night before sleep time.
