We were talking about drug addicts, also why ascorbic acid is difficult to purchase lately. So, for some time ascorbic acid was hard to get in Norway; and VERY expensive, to prevent them from using it for drugs.

Next; as they couldnt afford it, was to use citric acid instead, a poor replacement.

So now they give the ascorbic acid for free with a syrringe; this way the drug addicts get their vit C, but the other inhabitants of Norway have to pay for it.
(yes we can purchase ascorbic acid, but it is as expensive as heart medication:)
