I just found this doing a search, it's from 8 years ago, but I think it is instructive. We shake our heads at those who are skeptical of iodine, but even we were there once ourselves!

Anyway, hope you don't mind, Trapper. You've come a long way, dude! :)

Trapper: "it is best if you get your Iodine from ancient Sea Salt and sea veggies. if you take an Iodine supplement, your thyroid will shut down. they dont tell you that, but if you have enough iodine, the thyroid shuts down when it is flooded with it. i know because i found out after the fact and then i found the info. it did not feel good."
