Hi

I've had Seborrheic Dermatitis for decades and when I was diagnosed I was simply told it's cradle cap and there's no cure. In my case it's not too bad so I just dismissed it as an issue I'd always have, though I resented getting a spotty face as an adult woman.

I was reminded that I had it recently when I had a facial and now that the internet is here, I found this forum and your suggestion. I refined it to the easiest way I could think to try which was to put the salt water in a spray bottle and spray my face before using moisturiser.

(Side note, just finding a moisturiser that didn't irritate me too until I was about 45, finally I asked for one with colloidal oatmeal as I'd found oatmeal shampoo good and Aveeno had just come out. It works beautifully for me. They now have one for sensitive skin and it's even better.)

In any case, I decided to try the simplest I could and used the Sea Salt I have in the pantry. I found a ratio online that suggested 1 tablespoon of Sea Salt and a pinch of Epsom Salts to 1 cup of water. I made some up, have been using it now for more than a week and my skin's in the best shape it's been since I was a child.

I have a friend who lives in Israel, so I might get some Dead Sea Salt to try it with and I also have some Murray River salt, so I might give that a go too, to see if any sort of unprocessed salt is better than the others for me but I am delighted to have found this and I thank you very much for posting it.
