In addition to some excellent advice already given in this thread, if it were me I would hit it hard and fast with as much as I could. I suggest a comprehensive approach that includes eliminating toxins, juicing and cleansing to make the body as inhospitable to cancer as possible, and inclusion of proven powerful cancer fighters such as cannabis oil, Oleander extract, turmeric, medicinal mushroom combinations and more. Parazapper mentioned the excellent Cancertutor site - and I note that the protocol I have developed and refined over the years is listed as one of the top rated treatments by Cancertutor. If at all possible, I would obtain cannabis oil and take it internally as well as apply it frequently externally. Optionally, or even additionally, I would apply a concentrated Oleander based ointment throughout the day. The makers of the Oleander based line of supplements, suthrelandiaopc.com introduced a new concentrated oleander ointment in recent months called Rose Laurel Ointment which has as much oleander in a small 50 ml container as an entire bottle of 60 pure oleander capsules, and already there have been several good reports of its success against external cancers.

One other thing - I agree that a 75% prognosis does not sound accurate - at least not with conventional treatments. Perhaps the oncologist was talking about a 75% "response rate" and your friend took that to mean a 75% chance of success - two entirely different things, but a ploy often used by oncologists to divert attention from the often abysmal actual cure rates.
