Depending on the unit you buy, some air purifiers can absorb airborne particles larger than 0.01 microns. some traps particles as small as 1 micron. and the room coverage depends as well, so be careful when you buy it should suit your needs.Based on my experience it helps really to filter air esp with dusts around (I use coway)so it literally cleanses the air and of course you also have to vacuum always.
