Hi Everyone,
I am being evaluated for a possible scleroderma. Needless to say I am terrified. I have multiple GI symptoms and lung scaring but no skin changes at all. There also are some other issues that just don't fit. I get severe GERD that is followed up by asthma-like attacks, but to everyone's surprise, a smooth muscle relaxant works like a charm, removing all symptoms. My doctors are puzzled. A smooth muscle relaxant should make the symptoms worse, not better, it makes them totally go away. Any thoughts? Many thanks.
