I'm with you, saywhatagain. I took high-dose Iodine (100 mg+) for about 3 1/2 months. Felt great for the first month and then went downhill from there. If your adrenals are not strong and healthy, you will have problems taking iodine. There have been only a few people on that forum, like Ginagirl, who have been able to reverse their Hypothyroidism with Iodine and the companions alone...

I was raw vegan for a couple of months last summer. I experienced hypo symptoms during this time. A vegan diet, in my opinion, is nutritionally deficient. I went back to eating meat and have felt a lot better...
