Yes, part of a detox phase. Bromide is said to have a brassy taste.
This autumn, I dealt with old paint, and other toxins from an old building. Exposure to spray paint skyrockedet it. I developed a terrible bitter-metallic taste in my mouth. Gone whitin 14 days after I quit the exposure.
