(NaturalHealth365) Most United States citizens have been brainwashed into believing that cannabis is dangerous and has no therapeutic value. Yet, on February 2, 2001, the Unites States Patent Office issued – patent #6630507 – to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services – which clearly states:
”Cannabinoids have been found to have antioxidant properties, unrelated to NMDA receptor antagonism. This new found property makes cannabinoids useful in the treatment and prophylaxis of wide variety of oxidation associated diseases, such as ischemic, age-related, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.”
The government knows that cannabis has health benefits. This patent lists the use of certain cannabinoids – found within the cannabis sativa plant – as useful in certain neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, HIV and dementia. And, yet, this is the same U.S. federal government that steadfastly denies that cannabis has any medicinal value. Gee, I wonder why?
The Department of Health and Human services goes on to say – in its filed patent:
”Nonpsychoactive cannabinoids, such as cannabidoil, are particularly advantageous to use because they avoid toxicity that is encountered with psychoactive cannabinoids at high doses useful in the method of the present invention…”
This is a medical crime against U.S. citizens
In 1994, studies at the Medical College of the University of Virginia were funded by the Institute of Health in the hopes that research would show that marijuana damages the immune system. What the scientists found instead was that THC – a cannabis component – slowed the growth of three kinds of cancers.
These types of cancer were lung, breast and a virus induced leukemia. Also, in 1974, researchers learned that THC – the active chemical in marijuana – shrank or destroyed brain tumors in test mice.
The United States Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) quickly shut down the Virginia study and destroyed its results. This ‘protective’ agency went on to stop (and destroy) all research – throughout the country – pertaining to cannabis and granted exclusive research rights to major pharmaceutical companies. Does this sound like a ‘free and open society’ – geared toward the betterment of mankind?
In 2000, researchers from Spain announced that they had destroyed incurable brain tumors by injecting rats with THC – tetrahydrocannabinol. Most Americans are unaware of these studies, since no major U.S. newspaper carried the story and it only ran once on the newswires.
The question is simple. Is the U.S. government involved in fraudulent activities – as it pertains to the truth about cannabis? Let’s define ‘fraud’:
Fraud is deceit, trickery, sharp practice, or breach of confidence, perpetrated for profit or to gain some unfair or dishonest advantage.
Another way of defining fraud would be…
Fraud is the crime of using dishonest methods to take something valuable from another person.
Cannabis sativa (marijuana) contains compounds recognized and endorsed by a major branch of the U.S. government. Yet, marijuana remains on the DEA list as a ‘Schedule 1 drug’. Does the federal government – and its citizens see the hypocricy in all this?
The DEA says, “schedule I drugs, substances, or chemicals are defined as drugs with no currently accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse.” Are we supposed to believe that the DEA has no idea about government patent #6630507?
The fact of the matter is that cannabis has been part of the healthcare community for decades. Its results are well documented and clearly illustrate positive results.
We are all born with our body’s own form of cannabis. The endogenous cannabinoid system, which is named after the plant, is one of the most important physiological system involved in establishing and maintaining our health. Mother’s milk actually contains naturally-occurring cannabinoids, which have a biological purpose.
The cannabinoids, in mother’s milk, bind to the baby’s cannabinoid receptors in their brain. These cannabinoids trigger a hunger response in babies; and helps babies to nurse frequently and improves coordination of the muscles used to do so.
We are told only the pharmaceutical companies can make synthetic versions of cannabinoids – that will not make you high. This is another big bold lie. There are different varieties of cannabis and various natural ways to use it – without any of the so-called negative effects.
When you smoke a joint for medical purposes you are leaving behind 90% of the healing properties. There are different cannabis strains, and by choosing the correct one and using it correctly you can help most painful health conditions – without getting high.
Although I don’t personally use cannabis – I think this is an important health topic that needs to be explored – in greater detail – and NOT controlled by the federal government. After all, can we really trust them – after all they’ve done to us?
