Tough to judge at the present time because I am doing my derm's idea for treatment which is a topical steroid and antibiotic, and washing my lips with antibacterial soap. Lips are the dreaded white color, however not yellow which is associated with impetigo, so there is at least a silver (or white) lining. I will see her again tomorrow and ask for yet another culture as well as inquire about the value of a light biopsy, then take a break from pharmaceuticals for a bit and just focus on constant moisture, hygiene, low-sugar alkaline diet, exercise, sunshine (whatever I can get here in the Northwest US) and stress management to see the effects.
