My research on K is kinda limited, heck K itself is pretty new and its just further confused due to the different forms.

Check our westonaprice.org for some great reading on the fat soluble vitamins.

Cod liver oil, generally speaking, has a great A to D ratio. K from what I understand is in essence non toxic and is absolutely critical in helping your body put calcium where its needed. Without adequate K you end up calcifying the soft tissue in your body.

Often times people who are sensitive to vit D are so because they arent getting the D and K. D can actually be toxic if not taken with companion nutrients.

As for potassium I have found potassium ascorbate to be a great way to get added potassium and vit C. I find if I take a whole teaspoon (700mg potassum/4g vit C) it causes some gas but if I take half that 4 times a day no tummy issues.

I get around 2000mg of potassium a day from food alone and supplement another 1400+ a day, I can tell a HUGE difference when I dont get my potassium! Stiffness, achy, fatigued etc.
