After years of high stress and unhealthy eating, I got a really bad stomach flu (2.5 years ago) and it has been a slow climb back to health since then. In the last year every time I was starting to feel better and thought I'd again try to add exercise to the mix I would get fatigued again (and not the temporary kind of fatigue that went away after a week or so). The last couple attempts I chalked up to be because my magnesium levels are still on the low end of the healthy range and you lose magnesium through sweat (not that I sweat a ton anyhow).

I was really hoping that after finding Iodine a few weeks ago that this would be the last major piece missing. However, I spent 10 minutes this morning on the Vibration Platform (I bought this since after 2 years I lost most of my muscle mass and most basic exercises ended up with pulled muscles) and 10 minutes with hand weights. And now I feel crummy again.

Did others find that exercising was really hard before they got their Iodine levels back up and I should just wait awhile longer before trying to add it back in? I'm currently on about 470mg of Trapper's SSKI 2% and 50mg of Iodoral. It's very possible I still have other deficiencies and imbalances, but I figured I'd give the Iodine a few months before I started testing and researching other possibilities in parallel. I'm pretty sure I may still have issues with not absorbing nutrients well via my GI, but I take so many supplements (and have fairly recent tests) that I think I have most things at least at a low functional level.

Most of my detox symptoms are pretty light. Running nose right after the initial 350mg SSKI 2%, slight headache all day. I add the little extra SSKI 2% in tea mid morning or so. I tried going further and did an extra 470mg (so total 820mg SSKI2% + 50mg Iodoral yesterday) but had a huge Migraine by end of day. But even at the 470mg + 50mg Iodoral, it sounds like I'm taking a good dose? I take 2 ATP cofactors, 400-600mg selenium, Postassium, snack on Vitamin C during the day, Had 500mg of transdermal magnesium last night (I ordered the ionic stuff to see if I can tolerate that since I can't tolerate even chelated in my GI and finding time for transdermal is hit and miss), I take colostrum, ashwagnan, coQ10 for immune support. Source of gold liquid vitamin for overall support. Various other things I pop here and there (random Bs, fish oil, glutamine and probiotics for GI). I just ordered a bottle of K2. Taking D has been giving me headaches which I thought was my magnesium level (calcium levels are middle of the road - I'm 90% off dairy). But i'll try reintroducing that with the K2. However, my D was 30 in October (so not super low).

Thanks if anyone has thoughts! The husband has started exercising almost daily and thus it's harder for me to push it off as "I don't feel well enough to join you". Before I could do 5-10 minutes of just hand weights (and not raise my heart rate) and I could handle that without the later energy crash. But anything that raises my heart rate at all (I was in the 110s to 120s on the vibration platform) just destroys my energy for the rest of the day.
