He explained that this is in no way a works salvation or people's ability to perform the will of God. Those who have truly become born again are being regenerated by the Holy Spirit and made new creatures. Becoming born again is a miraculous work of God, but there then must be a continuing work of regeneration by the Holy Spirit in our lives. This is what causes us to become new creatures so that our lives and manner of living are changed. The changes in the life of a true Christian is marked by the conformity to the will of God. These scriptures are here for us to examine ourselves to see if we are in the faith. We need to examine ourselves to see if we are truly Born Again, or are we just saying that we are. Are we deceived thinking that we are saved when we are not? Is the Holy Spirit making all things new in our lives? Have we really made Jesus Lord of our lives? Paul Washer is preaching the scriptures. Do you cut these scriptures out of your Bible? He is in no way preaching a works based salvation. Many people think they are saved and are not.
