It has been a little over 6 weeks since removal. I feel great! I had a very normal period. Other than a heavy flow, it came right on time, and I was happy to have general PMS instead of the psycho bi-monthly PMS I was experiencing with the Mirena. I just ovulated and experienced very severe pain in my left hip and abdomen which I think was related to ovulation. Based on my pain, I would not be surprised if I had ovarian cysts. But, the pain passed with ovulation and today I have only slight left hip pain. I see a new GYN this coming Thursday. But, my ligament and tendon pain is mostly gone. Still having a little problem in the hip flexor area. Once I begin exercising on a regular basis and doing some weight bearing exercises, maybe I can resolve the lingering hip flexor weakness.
