You can't eat beans (hummus) 2 days in a raw.
Sorry.
Beans, almost al beans, contain protease inhibitors.
A protease is any enzyme that performs proteolysis.
Protease inhibitors are molecules that inhibit the function of proteases.
Protease inhibitors inhibit digestion of proteins, that in turn causes indigestion and gas.
In human body, proteases are digestive enzymes. Without enzymes like trypsin, pepsin & chymotrypsin, we would not be able to digest proteins.
Trypsin, pepsin & chymotrypsin are principal protein-degrading, or proteolytic, enzymes in the digestive system.
During the process of digestion, these enzymes collaborate to break down dietary proteins into their components: peptides and amino acids, which can be readily absorbed by the intestinal lining.
If something inhibits those enzymes, like beans do, we get a serious problem with digestion.
Any beans should only be consumed occasionaly, if your intestines are telling you that you can't digest it when consuming it more often.
People of blood type O usually have a lot of trouble digesting beans.
Beans should almost never be consumed with meat, cause digestion of meat asks for a lot of protease enzymes.
Protease inhibitors also slow the replication of certain cancer cells, and are known to block and prevent formation of tumor cells.
Medical protease inhibitors are used in trating HIV and AIDS.
Beware, men and women are different in tolerating foods.
Women are more sensitive during menstrual cycle.
You should have multiple sets of lists (blacklists/whitelists).
One set of lists for normal days, one set of lists for days when you are under extreme stress, and similar set of lists for days when you have menstruation.
