and selecte 2-phenyl ethanol, look at the spectrum. the numbers at the bottom are in unites of waveelengths per centimeter. sellect 1500 randomly, do the math, and you get 4.5 times 10 to the twelfth power of Hertz, which is 45,000 tera Hz, or 45,000 gigahertz, many orders of magnitude different from what that article purports; this is first-year college stuff that good students learn before they turn 18.
