I have done tons of research on Morgellons - which I am battling right now. I just found your posts today which are very informative. I have not asked anyone else for help or joined any other forums, however, hoping you might be able to correspond with me and answer a few questions.

I can give you more information about my situation -including a very odd part of my Morgellons which I have not found anywhere on the internet.

My regular MD said there was nothing he could offer me - when I asked him about Bactrim he said it was antiviral or something and dismissed it...I had no backup information and even though I have known him for awhile, he couldn't wait to run out of the room. Also had a surgeon remove one spot that seemed inverted and scary..and both myself and husband were treated very poorly.

I am about to get a referral from regular MD to see an infectious disease specialist...should I bother? Maybe you could give me a bit of help if I told you what was going on and the remedies I have been trying/using.

If you haven't done the above protocol, what types of treatment have you tried so far? 

Have you been diagnosed with any chronic medical conditions or diseases, e.g., diabetes, Lupus, Lymes?

What are your major symptoms of Morgellons? 

Have you noticed anything unusual in your bowel movements?  If so, you may have a co-infection with other types of parasites.  This commonly occurs when the immune system is compromised by one type of parasite & its defenses are overwhelmed.
