Wow, a few years have passed, just today I decided to browse the net and it got me back to this site, apology to the late reply, and sincerely appreciate that you followed up with my comment.

I would like to say, we only live once in this life, so try your best to find the cure, as we are so close to curing the long term side effects caused by accutane pills.

The biggest treatment that will cure most of the side effects is eating right. And the best way to know your eating right is to cook your own food. Ensure your meal has adequate nutrition.

Step 2. To allow our weak body to effectively absorb vitamins and minerals you need to buy yourself a blender. Make sure you drink fruitjuice like apple, strawberry, orange etc daily.

Eat half an hour after your fruitshake, so your body has the energy to digest and metabolise.

Step 3. Buy protein whey powder at your gym store/chemist/market make sure it has all or most of the amino acids and protein. Chocolate or vanilla is preferred as the unflavoured taste bad. You can just mix with water but I prefer to blend sometimes with raw eggs, mixed berries, cereal, yoghurt etc.

My skin now heals faster and I am more active than before. The last visible side effects that im concerned the most is my hair, my hair over the years after accutane has completely changed, it is not 100% healthy, from research after research the sebaceous glands has been damaged and has shrinked in size causing my hair to become thin and prone.

Anyways now i know that something is wrong with my sebaceous glands and androgen so curing hair and repairing the damaged cells requir scientific knowlegde, this is a challenge for millions of people suffering from accutane.

Lastly, hygiene at home and outside needs to be observed and managed. And plan ahead to manage and control your depression.

Alright, education conquers medication!
