Hi Cris. I have read Dermatomyositis is the same as polymyositis, except you have a rash. My rheumatologist would check me for that every time I saw her. I also think maybe mine came from gardening. I didn't always use gloves like I was supposed to and could have gotten it that way. I am sure the mosquito bites didn't help me either. It probably didn't help that I ate my steaks medium rare in the past (never again!). I also eat a lot of salad so all it could have taken is one time of my lettuce not being washed thoroughly, and I could have gotten the liver flukes. Thank you so much for sharing.
