Also many ppl confuse Ascaris with Tapewrom. I did when I didn't know much... But as I said before... Albendazole attack all and it's the only somewhat effective drug against systematic tissue infection (praziquantel is okay as well but it's somewhat weaker). You can use a combo... If you really desperate. Yeah I have cats. So fleas are all around LOL! Yes I do have a scalp itch when they are 'around'. From what I know fleas rarely can pass on parasites. I don't think I got it from them anyway. But I can never be sure.
