As far as the Q as to why doctors don't accept it... Well, orthodoxy reigns so often in so many professions, plus they are so tied into Big Pharma which is so tied into giving things that just treat the symptoms, and don't really cure. That way you have to keep coming back for more and more of their stuff, if you fall for it.
