Let me delve a little bit into the irony of you posting what you did.

First off, the Iodine forum is not the Liver Flushing forum.

Some of the people there have done liver flushes, but the majority have not.

Next, you have to realize that V, Gina, Trapper, etc, are extremely knowledgeable about alternative health. V seems like a very accomplished chemist, Ginagirl has a degree in homeopathy and Trapper is very well-rounded in seems just about everything related to alternative health.

If you listen to Grizz for example, you would just take one drop at a time until you can handle larger doses.

Now on to the irony...

Yep, you guessed it, ayurveda. Maybe you should read more than the first page of your newby beginners manual and learn about oleation therapy.

LOL, you guessed it again. Ayurveda! So are you going to renounce the field you have chosen to study?

Both oleation therapy and salt flushes are two of the powerful cleansers in panchakarma. It's probably not on page one of the newby beginners manual, so maybe you will get to it later on.

Not only that, but the salt flushes that Trapper recommends are WAYYYY gentler than the panchakarma flushes.

Iodine therapy is also actually a part of ayurvedic medicine as well. Have you looked at shilajit? Many of the brands of shilajit come with elemental iodine.

Some people start off using Iodine incorrectly and go much too fast too soon and then blame the iodine. The literature is out there for anyone with 2 brain cells. We are swimming in halogens, and if you do nothing to protect yourself and get them out of your body, well your health and iq will suffer.

Iodine therapy is not purported to be a cure all either. No one on the forums is claiming so.

Grizz has assembled hundreds of testimonials of people being cured of disease from iodine. Wombat and many others have cured fibrocystic breast disease. In what bizarre world would you call this 'keeping people sick'.

You have chosen to look at a few isolated cases of people who were already ill, who are also doing god knows what kind of other therapies and called that 'keeping people sick'. This is a blatant lie.

I was almost going to take you seriously since you are studying something interesting, but it seems your take on reality is now on deep discount as well. A peaceful aurvedic warror would never post such unsubstantiated nonsense.

Personally I like newbs, so long as they know their place. Nothing worse than an uppity newb.
