Wow, you have been through quite a lot over the years.
I've generally been spared the nasty immune system problems; however I currently have a rare case of bronchitis--not fun.
My main symptom is inattentive ADD / catecholamine Depression (lethargy, glued to the chair in the evening, can't be productive unless it is very interesting or a crisis.
Note this is not physical fatigue or sleepiness! It is extremely difficult to explain to those who have never experienced it. The closest I've come up with is the way one's brain is sluggish when we have a nasty cold. We often can't get motivated to do anything or think clearly even though we are not physically busy.
However, if the house were to catch fire or a naked woman ran across the room, my brain could come back online very quickly and I could spring into action. Adrenaline is also called epinephrine, one of the catecholamines. I can be quite productive when in stressful, adrenaline pumping situations.
I seem to have low levels of catecholamines. According to my read of Cutler's hair test book I really am a good fit for cadmium and lead. They were in the red on followup hair tests while chelating with dmsa + la. I even had the bone density problems associated with them.
When off round I'm healthy except the difficulty getting life organized or moving in the evening. When on round this gets much worse.
I wonder if this is due the chelators not being good at getting rid of cadmium but quite capable of stirring it up!
I discussed this recently with my doctor who prescribed abx for the bronchitis. We may do neurotransmitter and or amino acid testing some time in the future.
However I still need to try to add more copper. The body needs copper to make norepinephrine. Andy says people with a cadmium problem often do better with more Cu. I will try this after I get rid of this cold!
