Try a low dose beta blocker such as Inderal (propanalol), its not a cure, but it will calm the sympathetic overtone and let you get some rest...best of all its not a nasty psych med. They can take up to two to four weeks to work properly, but youll see some relief straight away...

all the herbal crap in the world wont calm a system down when its gone into mass overdrive...but pysch meds will make it far worse once you quit
