It's a really hard time to be a pastor. I can't imagine the pressure. The internet has really changed things so rapidly and there is so much confusion, and we know the devil loves to use all that confusion, especially in the church. We do need to pray for the pastors that truly have a desire to bring the gospel to this dying world, and that along with shepherding the sheep, are the only reasons they desire to be a pastor.
But what Rainy brought up, is also a huge problem too. There are certainly many pastors out there that desire to be a pastor because they desire power, or fame, or riches, or all three of those things and are preaching a false gospel. The bible does warn greatly about wolves in sheep's clothing, especially for the end times.
So we need to certainly be praying for all the true gospel preaching pastors out there, because no doubt the pressures they are facing these days are extremely difficult and trying.
And then we also need to pray for ourselves and others to not be deceived by the many deceivers that are out there.
