hm. i also got out a piece of a rope that had some "crystal like sludge" on it. i figured it was a partly undigested cap of magnesium supplement, though...

that youtube vid is truly weird. looks like a fake, computer animated... on the other and, few things seem to surprise me these days, not even these ropes being extra-terrestial in origin...
