Depending on the operator he or she may not be very thorough and leave part of the ascending and transverse colon still partly full. Doing a 3 or 4 day liquid only fast certainly would help.

My own experience is that a 3 day juice fast with a mild laxative and deep cleansing enemas for all 3 days worked for me.
