That would only be useful if a person got poisoned recently in a chemical factory or similar.

HM toxicitiy is a retention toxicity according to Haley. The body gets rid of most of it but some of it binds rather tightly to very sensitive organs causing problems. For example lead get stuck in bones and inorganic mercury gets stuck in the brain. We don't have ways to test those parts of the body. Very little of it is in the blood or urine when exposure is small or when it ended years ago, yet the person can still be suffering from the HMs that found their target organs and are retained there.

You'll learn more from the guys with PhDs in chemistry such as Boyd Haley, former chair of the chem dept at the U of KY and Andy Cutler, author and formerly disabled from Hg poisoning.

If the doctor does not even know what test to order, what are the chances that the doctor will know of a safe and effective method to deal with the problem?!
