I took 6 months to go from 1/2 mg daily to 50mg daily, and I am currently at 50mg a day on the Dr. Brownstein Protocol:

Leaders here at the Curezone recommend starting at 100mg to quickly blast through detox. Some people are able to quickly blast through their detox by starting at 100mg and others are not. I guess it all depends on each individual.
