Have u discussed with your doctor, or done any reading concerning whether you have a high systemic load of competing toxic halogens like fluorine & bromine which have not been removed yet, and are taking up the Iodine docking sites throughout the body?
SYMPTOMS of hypothyroidism mimic almost to a T systemic poisoning by toxic halogens like fluoride:

see SYMPTOMS link at left on site.
links won't post here--INSERT A PERIOD B4 the "com" part of the URLs below in this post!
The poisoning can be reversed, again over time, by using ingested iodine, another halogen, to slowly drive out the
more powerful toxic halogens.
Please read through key articles on this site, like this one HISTORY also:

Note also a nasty twist, unnoticed by most, is that in N.A. (BANNED EU & Japan), drinking any of the well-known names listed here of popular soda beverages (pop) will allow the bromine to drive out the body's Iodine stores over time:

Drinks Known to Contain BVO
Amp Energy Drink
Fanta
Fresca
Mountain Dew
Powerade (some flavors, including Strawberry Lemonade)
Squirt
Sun Drop
Sunkist Pineapple
... and, until new versions hit the shelves, some flavors of Gatorade, including Orange.
