Something that I wanted to add here also is after my first Water Fast (14 days), my digestive tract was never the same as before. It only took one Water Fast to change how my body processed food. The additional fasts kept making my digestive tract more and more efficient. So much so now there is no way to go back to my old lifestyle and if I do I would likely be severly obese.
I can no longer EVER eat like yesteryear. I have to be very careful with the fat, low carb is awful, and I used to lose extensively with low carb.
I feel like the fasts have reset my body to be very efficient on what is uses, and anything that it can't use automatically goes to fat.
I have learned raw is my only option now to stay slim. My digestive tract can't handle anything more taxing on the system. I tried going back to healthy but not raw (nuts, chicken, coffee, etc.) and no matter how hard I exercised it was never good enough to stop the fat regrowth.
Today with a diet of mostly raw along with exercise is my best option, and the only way to ward off aging. I am able to be healthy and have minimal cellulite, reduction in all my stretch marks, and my wrinkles have all vanished.
Water fasting is now my complement to my life. It heals the environment toxins, and it helps me to heal parts of me that are going south as I age.
It didn't happen overnight, and it was a long two year period of lifestyle changing to get to this place today. One fast starts the process, but continuing with fasts (for me it is 5-10 days) several times a year is what has benefited me most.
