Yes, I dilute Lugols 5% Iodine frequently. Lugols is by definition a mix of Iodine & Potassium Iodide. It dilutes perfectly with no problems.

However, the Iodine crystals will only dissolve so far. For details see Recipes to make your own iodine here:
