Natrium or magnesium ascorbate is an option. When my digestion was weak, I tolerated these two very well.

Another option is to mix ascorbic acid with a little borax, it will take the burning out of the acid, but the C still work. And then you get the boron too.

Also, taking magnesium citrate, malate together with the ascorbic acid.
