Leaving your body can be useful in the proper context and under the proper circumstances. However, the tree was your "safe" place and you no longer feel safe, anywhere. Leaving your body isn't processing the molestations and abuses that you endured. Processing traumas of the magnitude that you experienced would be better served with the assistance and guidance of a licensed counseling therapist.
