I have zapped an inflamed or abscessed tooth several times in the last few years. The Zapper appears to be fairly good at killing bacteria which cause many infections. It seems to work every time. Of course, the better results appear to come from the better zappers.

The interesting thing that I have found is that there can be small low grade infections at the root of the tooth which may be hard for the dentist to detect.
