Hi all. I have been reading the CureZone Forums for a while now, but never really had a pressing question. Now I do, though, and any help on the below would be greatly appreciated!

So for a couple years now I have been suffering from a severe intolerance to fluorescent light. I get "brain fog," headaches, and I also get anxious and disoriented. This means I have trouble working on the computer and I am sometimes unable to shop in stores that use fluorescent lighting.

I recently discovered that evening primrose oil helps a lot with this. The only problem is that I also have an allergic reaction to it. Within minutes, my throat will swell up to the point that I have trouble swallowing - but I'm able to watch TV or use the computer without much of a problem.

I found this incredibly frustrating and set off to do some research. It seems that my body was converting the GLA partly to inflammation-causing arachidonic acid due to an imablance of D5D and D6D enzymes, tipped toward D5D. Because turmeric blocks D5D, I figured that if I took some before the evening primrose oil, I'd get the positive effects without the apparent allergic reaction.

This actually worked, but this time I spent the entire day in bed throwing up (this from one capsule, one gram, of evening primrose oil). I've come to see the risks of this sort of self-experimentation and I really need some outside advice at this point. What do you do if GLA makes you throw up - yet you need it? Is there any way around the nausea?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
