i found that Lugols made my throat sore, too. i started taking Iodine in 00 vegcaps and chasing it with plenty of water or whatever. problem solved.

another way it might work is make a diluted shot of Iodine and slam it back with a big water back. that MIGHT decrease exposure to those tissues.
