There have been a few random posts claiming that they have given or that they suspect to have given the condition to someone else (one guy even claimed to have given it to multiple people; if that were true, he should be brought to justice...). I personally don't think that (most) of our conditions are contagious. Unless it is some kind of infection, there is no way that it can be. Just like other skin conditions are not contagious. You should of course get checked for bacterial or fungal infections.

When I was peeling my lips at the beginnig of this year for a while, I did kiss my wife (obviously not as much and as "strong" as we would have liked though), and also last year while leaving them alone, when they were on their good days (very rare). She never had any problems and - once I stop doing treatments and maybe go on peeling them - I will probably go back to kissing her.
