The dangers of using a zapper/electrisation device is that the electric signal will not reach all parts of the body with the same intensity.
Consequently some helminths seem to be killed (the small larveas) but some helminths which are tough and able to move will try to avoid the electric signal and will go to the parts of the body with more resistance (digestive tube, lungs, nasal cavities, head) or not in the path of the current (depending on how one holds the electrodes)
From my experience, it is very difficult to use an electrode on the skin of the head with a high enough intensity, and this is how some helminths may decide to move in the head to be protected from the electric signals.
For this reason, until we find an electric signal capable to damage/kill helminths efficiently and reliably, zapping can be dangerous.
