No, I took triple the amount of ALA - last time, usually only twice as much.
Yes, 1-3 weeks after chelation is when things usually happen, same here. That's just how it is, as I said, it sucks. People look for an easy way out - but it's more akin to the situation the guy who cut off his arm was in (he got stuck between rocks and he was a long way from help, so the choice was to die slowly or cut off the arm with a pocket knife).
Anyway, I read it several times that people who had lots of side effects with DMSA went on DMPS and had a much better experience, so you may want to try that. Try is all we can do! You can go back to DMSA later when there isn't enough left to remove for DMPS. You don't need to go to ampules, you can keep Cutler and capsules - there is at least one woman who wrote a book about it who for 2 years did it with DMSA and when she switched to DMPS (capsules) was a lot more happy.

3-5 years, no less. And try DMPS. And maybe try without ALA, I only added ALA after 1.5 years, and it opened up completely new areas in my body so maybe that's too much to do so early.
